CILIP has declared that February 4th 2012 will be National Libraries Day.
National Libraries Day is one day devoted to all libraries: public libraries, school and university libraries, prison, national, law, business and commercial libraries. It will be a nation-wide celebration of libraries, librarians and library staff in all sectors. It is open to all libraries that want to get involved.
CILIP hopes to have a website available over the next couple of months where people can upload events and activities.
